ASTM A335 P9/ ASME SA335 P9 is a seamless ferritic chromium-molybdenum alloy pipe for high temperature service. The material composition of A335 P9 alloy steel pipe is silicon (max) 0.50, molybdenum 0.45 – 0.65, carbon (max) 0.15, chromium 4.00 – 6.00 and manganese 0.30 – 0.60. The mechanical properties of A335 P9 pipe are a minimum yield strength of 205 Mpa, a minimum tensile strength of 415 Mpa, and a minimum elongation of 30/20 L/T.
