GNEE Group, a premier global provider of high-quality steel piping solutions, recently hosted a high-level delegation from a major oil and gas service firm based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The visit focused on the rigorous inspection and bulk procurement of API 5L GRB (Grade B) Line Pipes for upcoming pipeline infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
During the technical seminar, GNEE’s engineering team presented the mechanical properties and chemical composition of our API 5L Grade B pipes. Given the UAE’s extreme desert temperatures and high-salinity coastal environments, GNEE highlighted our specialized coating capabilities, including 3LPE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) and Internal FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy), which provide superior anti-corrosion protection.

The visit included an in-depth tour of GNEE’s integrated production facility. The UAE clients personally witnessed:
Advanced Testing Protocols: Demonstration of Hydrostatic Testing, Radiographic Testing (RT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for weld integrity.
Precision Manufacturing: Observation of the seamless and ERW pipe production lines ensuring exact wall thickness and diameter tolerances.
Traceability Audit: A review of the Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and the 1:1 heat number traceability system.
The visit concluded with a multi-year supply agreement for over 3,000 tons of API 5L GRB line pipes. This partnership marks a significant milestone in GNEE Group’s expansion within the Middle East market, reinforcing its position as a trusted supplier for large-scale oil, gas, and water transmission projects.
